The Tuscan is a sausage big on taste. Each day our butchers make these sausages fresh, using a blend of garlic and herbs to give this sauasage a wonderfully rich flavour. At home in a sausage pasta or popped into a sandwich, this is one of our favourites.
Made using natural casings, combining meat from across farmers' lovely native breed, free range pigs.
Native breeds include Gloucester Old Spot, Cornish Black, Berkshire, Tamworth and Blythburgh

Pork (84%), water, vegetable rusk, seasoning (salt, rice flour, yeast extract, stabiliser (E450), spices, dextrose, preservative (E221 sodiumsulphite), spice extracts, herb extracts), garlic
Brown onions in a pan, with a heaped tablespoon of finely chopped rosemary. As onions are browning add sausages chopped into bitesize chunks and crushed garlic. Once sausages have sealed, add chopped tomatoes and leave to simmer for 40 mins. Serve with pasta, fresh mozzarella and fresh basil.Check out more recipes
The Tuscans often cook their sausages in a hearty white bean stew. Often not served with pasta, but with chunks of bread which is dipped into the rich sauce. Served with a large glass of red (of course).
