Our trimmed venison loin is taken from the striploin of the animal at the top of the rib cage.
This lazy muscle does very little work, making it unbelievably tender and lean. Melt in the mouth tenderness, and a fast roast makes this the true king of roasting joints and will wow your guests. As wild deer are of different sizes, your loin may come as one 700g piece, or two similarly-sized smaller pieces.
All of our venison is wild. As free range as it gets, the animals eat a natural diet of plants, fruit, nuts and acorns in the warmer months and grass and evergreen plants in winter. This gives our venison a fantastic gamey flavour compared to farmed supermarket meat. Seasonal, so you might not see it all the time on the site.

Keep it simple and let the meat do the talking. Rub salt and pepper all over the joint. Brown briefly in a hot pan, before popping into an oven at 200C for 30 mins for medium. Rest for 10 mins and carve. Prepare to be blown away.Check out more recipes
