Taken from the pig's head, cheeks are an often overlooked but glorious cut with incredible flavour. Best suited to slow cooking as their natural marbling keeps the meat moist and tender.
Our farmers' pigs are rare breed, outdoor reared, outdoor bred and free range. Rare breeds include slow grow Gloucester Old Spot, Cornish Black, Berkshire, Tamworth and Blythburgh.

Quickly brown the pork cheeks in a large caserole dish. Remove and add chopped shallots, carrot, celery and garlic cooking until softened. Add the cheeks, stock and a glass of red wine and leave to simmer for two plus hours. You wil be rewarded with tender, melting meat.Check out more recipes
