Britian produces some of the best lamb in the world as the wet climate provides optimum conditions for lamb to flourish. With a naturally sweet flavour, lamb meat is dark and full of flavour, and is best eaten rare.
Our farmers' lambs are all rare, native-breed, outdoor reared and bred, free range and solely grass fed. Rare breeds include, Lleyn, Dorset, Jacob, Shetland and Suffolk.

To be classified as a 'lamb' the animal must be under 1 year old. Aged 1-2 years it is called hogget, and over 2 years, it's mutton
