Alongside a cracking rump roast, the star of this alternative Christmas selection is undoubtedly the beautifully tender loin. Cut from the eye of the striploin, and almost tailor-made for a centrepiece Wellington, the wild diet of British deer gives the meat a distinct, game-y flavour unlike anything you'll find on the supermarket shelves.
Combine this with a free range Aylesbury duck, the ingredients to create both deer- and pigs-in-blankets (and a bit of stuffing, just for good measure), and you'll find you've plenty in this selection to convert even the staunchest defender of the Turkey tradition.
