Why Heartier?

I started at Heartier with an interest in food and this has certainly grown over time. I’m lucky enough to eat fantastic free-range meat and I’m an advocate that it’s a step up from the supermarket. Additionally, I’m proud that my work involves bringing traceable & ethical produce to customers, particularly considering the shocking fake farm & animal welfare scandals in recent years.

Favourite recipe for…

Cooking for others: If I have time I love slow cooking – it’s hard to beat a brisket done right!

Quick weeknight meals: Soy sauce stir-fry beef with wild rice or chicken supremes.

Treat: Easy – ribeyes!

Comfort food: Homemade burgers with paprika sweet potato fries.

What are you excited for at Heartier?

I truly believe Heartier is leading the way in working with butchers & farmers to provide ethically sourced meat to homes across the country. Home-cooking with the right produce is a real pleasure (and really doesn’t have to be difficult) so I’m excited to help deliver this and to keep our delightful customers up to date with our journey and recipes.
